Tarbert Fairy Fort and Wishing Tree

The wishing tree is a local landmark in Tarbert and features in the best-selling book, ‘Heritage Trees of Ireland’.

It is visible at the edge of the road to Tarbert Ferry port. Information on accessing the Fairy Fort can be got by contacting the Bridewell Museum in Tarbert village (see separate entry for the Bridewell in this ‘Historical’ section of the database.
