Leacanabuaile Stone Fort
Located two kilometres outside Caherciveen, Leacanabuaile is the ruin of a seventh century stone fort that was built as a farm defense.

The car park can accommodate up to five vehicles. However, limited space exists for HGVs or generators in regards to the obstruction of local traffic. The one-hundred metre path from the car park to the fort can only be travelled on foot.
