Ross Castle
Located on the outskirts of Killarney, Ross Castle is a 15th century
settlement on the banks of Lough Leane.
Located in Killarney National Park, Torc mountain at its summit
provides stunning views across South Kerry
with Killarney town to the Northeast, The Macgillycuddy’s Reeks to the West
and the Dingle peninsula to the North.
Access to the start of the trail is by driving up the old Kenmare road to a car park
where you will find each route for the Mountain and Waterfall.
The car park can hold approximately 20 cars.
Vans will find it easy to navigate to the route but HGVs will find access
to the car park via the old Kenmare road difficult.
