Dingle Pier

Dingle pier is located near the centre of the town and it is a port for the area’s fishing industry.

Boat tours of the bay are available throughout the year. The pier itself is wide with plenty of space for large vehicles to manoeuvre. Parking for fifty cars is available near the entrance (subject to ‘pay and display’ rules). In summer the pier and marina are congested with tourist activity.

The highest mountain on the Dingle Peninsula, the summit of Mt.Brandon provides a stunning view across all of West Kerry. Access to the mountain is generally by the Faha Grotto route which starts just outside the village of Clogher.
Access for HGVs is not ideal as you have to navigate tight country lane-ways to get to the starting point.
It’s recommended to use a smaller vehicle if possible.
